This Rs 200 crore project aims to establish an Institute of Health Sciences which includes a Multi Disciplinary Super specialty hospital of 225 beds, a Medical College of 100 admissions, a Teaching hospital of 500 beds, a Nursing College and Institute of Paramedical Sciences,
Also includes a center for Ayurvedic Wellness treatment with resort like facilities , an old age home and ambulatory services, 1500 sitting capacity convention hall and a meditel relative accommodation
It will have a self contained residential complex with daily needed facilities for staff and a recreational center.
The proposed Institute campus while retaining the character of Varanasi will be a modern campus with state of the art facilities.
The super specialty Hospital while catering for most of the super specialties will have some areas of excellence as the high light of facilities apart from other specialties ,these areas include:-
· Heart centre comprising of Cardiology; and CTVS which will have a modern CCU, Cath lab, CTVS OT, Post Op area and a Heart Command Centre .
· Oncology center with gamma knife, radiotherapy, all scans and high end oncology treatment options
· Emergency unit and Trauma center with specialized ambulances and Multispecialty approach
· Orthopedics Department with State of the art operation facilities for Total Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement, advanced arthroscopic surgeries, minimally invasive spinal procedures and other Advanced Orthopedic Surgeries along with Rheumatology support for complete musculoskeletal care
· Respiratory Diseases Centre will be an advanced centre for which has an advanced sleep lab, non invasive ventilators as C pap and Bi Pap ,Bronchoscopy unit ,PFT and advanced respiratory diagnostic Lab .
· Neurosciences centre will have a dedicated stroke unit and state of the art OT with rehabilitation facilities for all neurological and neurosurgical disorders.
· Geriatric unit will be a specialized unit uniquely catering to need of the aged.
· Radiology centre with high end Cardiac CT, SPECT CT, 1.5 T MRI and all facilities for high end diagnostic and interventional radiology.
The Medical College aims at imparting training to prospective medicos which are comparable to International Standards and make them competent to compete in International Forum of medical fraternity.
Phase I Project Scope:
225 bed super specialty hospital
Nursing college for 60 admissions per year for BSc nursing
Facility for paramedical courses as laboratory technicians, radiography technicians, cath lab technicians etc
Center for alternative medicine with emphasis on Ayurveda and naturopathy
80 residential quarters for staff
Hostel for students of Nursing College

Phase II Project Scope:
Expansion to create a network of secondary hospitals through Brownfield and Greenfield expansion to become a leading regional health system in northeast India.
Simultaneous expansion of the 225-bed hospital facility to create a hub and spoke framework by integrating it with the secondary hospital network.
Phase 1 Project Status:
The Company has already acquired requisite land for setting up the multi-super specialty hospital located on the national highway, NH 2 and is very accessible from all locations. The land used has already been converted and notified in the official Gazzette of U.P. Other statutory clearenses and formalities are under process. Construction to start from March 2010.
Additionally, the Company has also mandated the reputed international hospital specialists, CPG Architects (www.cpgcorp.com.sg) from Singapore, to leverage their international hospital design expertise, for phase I of construction. Additionally, the Company has also retained the services of Medicontrivers India Pvt. Ltd. - a Hospital and Health care facilities promotion, planning and management Consultancy Company established in 1993 with headquarters located at Mumbai, India.
